Tina D. Varjian

Attorney

Tina D. Varjian graduated from the University of Southern California in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1998. During law school, she served as a legal extern for both the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office as well as the Los Angeles Superior Court – East District (Van Nuys) where she was recognized by the judicial officers for her exceptional research and writing skills.
Ms. Varjian has extensive experience in law and motion work, including serving as a research attorney for the Honorable Patricia L. Collins (Ret.) of the Law and Motion Department in the Los Angeles Superior Court – West District (Santa Monica) where she was responsible for reviewing and analyzing a variety of motion papers and drafting legally sound tentative rulings for the Judge to consider and adopt. Her background as a research attorney made her highly desirable and it was only natural that she take the next step in her legal career to join the Law & Motion and Appellate Practice Group of a top-tier, mid-size civil litigation firm in downtown Los Angeles as an associate attorney. It was here that Ms. Varjian further established her aptitude for research and writing by prevailing on numerous dispositive motions on behalf of clients which ultimately saved them the time and expense of protracted litigation. Ms. Varjian also prepared appellate briefs and presented oral arguments before the Second Appellate District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Varjian has experience representing large retail conglomerates, parking operators, hospitality companies, real estate brokers, homeowner associations, and general contractors. As former Corporate Counsel for an insurance services company, Ms. Varjian learned first-hand about the internal operational challenges faced by a corporate client. Ms. Varjian is noted for her integrity and has been hailed as “magnanimous” by a former law partner in her handling of controversial situations involving parties and their counsel.
Away from the office, Tina enjoys her time as a volunteer docent for the Virginia Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills, spending time with friends and family, and taking classes to learn a new skill or an interesting subject.
